We highlight events, towns, outdoor activities, dining and small businesses, and Arkansas pop culture and history. Our passion is putting Arkansas on display! Our aim is to provide families and individuals with travel ideas and to promote Arkansas communities.

We love to explore as a family, but life is busy. So we have to sit down and schedule our trips-- hence the name Scheduling Adventure. We share our trips with you to inspire you to plan and make time for adventure.

Hi, I’m Marla, a content creator with over 20 years of experience in visual storytelling. With degrees in digital filmmaking and writing, I began my career traveling the globe producing video and editorial content for a media organization. I spent the next decade creating freelance content. As the founder of Scheduling Adventure, I focus on uncovering the best travel experiences in and around Arkansas. From scenic road trips, town itineraries, beautiful hiking trails, culinary hotspots, and family adventures, I spotlight the destinations that make the region shine. My goal is to inspire others to discover the rich experiences Arkansas has to offer. Together with my husband Colin and our two daughters, we explore so we can help you plan your next adventure.
